Last weekend we welcomed over 190 musicians, representing 45 high schools band programs from Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana to our stage.  The performances of all the three high school honor bands were excellent, and the UofL Wind Symphony performance capped an amazing evening of music making!  In particular, UofL’s Professor of Tuba and Euphonium, Professor Clint McCanless, dazzled the super-sized audience with his virtuosic rendition of Tony Plog’s “3 Miniatures”.  This event is truly a testimony to…

On December 26th, 2013 the Marching Cards traveled to Orlando, Florida to perform at the 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl.  While in Orlando, the Marching Cards performed for over 50,000 fans.  In addition, the Marching Cards spent the entire day at Universal Studio Florida enjoying the theme park and ending the day in a special parade through the middle of Universal Studios!            More photos from the Russell Athletic Bowl More Photos from the Russell Athletic…
