If you are in the CMB, the band will take care of move in scheduling for all band students living in UofL Housing. You do not need to request early move in from housing yourself. The UofL CMB will pay for early move in for students who have been approved for fall housing in the following residence halls: Bettie Johnson, Cardinal Towne, Community Park, Kurz Hall, Louisville Hall, Belknap Village North and South Hall, Unitas Tower, University Pointe, and University Tower Apartments. Early Move-In must be requested through this form by choosing Yes or No, before July 1. The band will confirm your move-in assignment/location two weeks before band camp. Your regular fall room assignment may or may not be ready, however all CMB students are guaranteed a room for band camp.

Although MUS 109 Pep Band is a spring semester course, there are events in the Fall Semester. Indicating your intentions here allows us to form our Pep Band roster and instrumentation. Additional scholarships are available to all students in the Pep Band.

RESIDENCE HALLS FOR MARCHING BAND STUDENTS

If you have requested campus housing, your residence hall information will be updated in your housing portal. The UofL Bands will pay for early move-in for the following residence halls: Bettie Johnson, Cardinal Towne, Community Park, Kurz Hall, Louisville Hall, Belknap Village North, Belknap Village South, Unitas Tower, University Pointe, and University Tower Apartments.

On the Intent to March form, please indicate your needs for Band Camp early move-in. Please complete the Intent to March form by July 1 at 12:00pm to guarantee your early move-in. If you have already completed this step, thank you. Any requests submitted after that time may be requested but cannot be guaranteed due to other summer conferences happening on campus that require housing. You will also need to submit your housing application to the UofL Housing department by July 1 to receive a fall room assignment from UL Housing. After submitting your housing application, your fall assignments will be available in your Housing portal in late July.

Please note that some students may need to move into temporary housing before transitioning to their permanent fall housing assignment. If so, you will be notified by Wednesday, July 30. Additionally, non-UL affiliated housing (The Province, The Nine, The Retreat) may not allow early move-in for their residents. Students are responsible for making their own arrangements for non-UL affiliated properties. If you are staying in one of these locations, please find your own temporary housing in advance in case you are not able to move in early for Band Camp.

Tuesday, July 1: UofL Housing application due to UofL Housing for regular Fall Semester

Late July: Housing assignments added to UL Housing Portal
Wednesday, July 30: Notification of any temporary housing assignments sent by UofL Housing to Students

BAND CAMP ARRIVALS

Monday, August 4 from 1:00pm-4:00pm: Leadership, Colorguard, and Drumline Students

Wednesday, August 6 from 1:00pm-4:00pm: Woodwind and Brass Students
Sunday, August 10 from 1:00pm-4:00pm: Tentative temporary housing transition day into permanent housing.
