Congrats to the CMB for recent performances at the Pegasus Parade and KY Derby! The Cardinal Marching Band recently performed as the opening band in the 59th Republic Bank Pegasus Parade and performed My Old Kentucky Home for the 140th Kentucky Derby to a live audience of 164,900 people and an NBC TV audience of 15.3 million viewers. In addition, the CMB appeared on the WDRB “In the Morning Show” and was recently featured on the front page of the Courier Journal and the main UofL Facebook page. The CMB has been the “Official Band of the KY Derby” since 1936.
