Congratulations to 2024 Midwest Conducting Fellow, Dylan Teel (UofL MM, 2020)

Dylan Teel (Master of Music in Wind Conducting, 2020) has been selected to participate as a 2024 Conducting Fellow in the prestigious Midwest International Band and Orchestra Conference H. Robert Reynolds Conducting Institute. While at the University of Louisville, Mr. Teel distinguished himself as an outstanding graduate teaching assistant with the University Bands and upon graduation earned a University-wide Graduate Dean’s Citation.

Now in his fifth year of teaching, Dylan is serving in his first year as an Assistant Band Director at Boswell High School in Fort Worth, TX. At Boswell High School, he conducts the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensemble 2 & 3. He also assists with the instruction of the Wind Symphony and the Boswell Band of Gold Marching Band, and teaches AP Music Theory. Prior to his appointment at Boswell High School, he held positions at Horseshoe Bend High School in New Site, AL and Veterans Memorial Middle School in Columbus, GA.
