Maestro Tim Reynish makes special conducting appearance with the U of L Wind Symphony

On Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 7:30 pm, Maestro Tim Reynish made a special conducting appearance with the University of Louisville Wind Symphony. The concert was open to the public and was presented in Comstock Hall at the University of Louisville School of Music.

Tim Reynish is one of the leading conductors of wind bands and wind ensembles in the world. He was Head of the School for Wind and Percussion at the Royal Northern College of Music for 25 years, where he developed the wind orchestra and ensemble to become recognized as one of the best in the world. He has extensively commissioned new works by contemporary classical composers.  In 2019, Reynish was award the honour of Member of the Order of the British Empire by then Queen Elizabeth II.
