On December 26th, 2013 the Marching Cards traveled to Orlando, Florida to perform at the 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl.  While in Orlando, the Marching Cards performed for over 50,000 fans.  In addition, the Marching Cards spent the entire day at Universal Studio Florida enjoying the theme park and ending the day in a special parade through the middle of Universal Studios!            More photos from the Russell Athletic Bowl More Photos from the Russell Athletic…

On Saturday, November 16th over 300 students from 18 schools participated in the 2nd Annual “Band Day” with the UofL Cardinal Marching Band.  Students received a ticket to the game, lunch and the opportunity to perform with the CMB during half time. On Friday, November 15th, the Wind Ensemble will perform the world premiere of Grawemeyer Award-winning composer Brett Dean’s Engelsflügel, a new work the composer wrote for the University of Louisville School of Music. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in Comstock Concert Hall in the School of Music. Works by UofL’s own music faculty, Marc Satterwhite and Steve Rouse, will also be performed.
