2024 HIGH SCHOOL WIND BAND INSTITUTE NOMINATION FORM

We are pleased to announce the 2024 University of Louisville Summer Wind Band Institute. The high school division features performance experience in an advanced Wind Ensemble. In addition, there are numerous master classes given throughout the week as well as sessions in ear training for performance, and the fundamentals of conducting. Nominees should be confident performers capable of executing Grade 5 and 6 repertoire. We look forward to building on the successes of recent institutes. Our past Wind Band Institute ensembles have presented fabulous performances of Ticheli’s Symphony No. 2, Persichetti’s Symphony No. 6, Giannini’s Symphony No. 3, Reed’s Symphony No. 2, Nelhybel’s Two Symphonic Movements, and others.
