Alison Farley has recently been appointed Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Georgia Hugh Hodgson School of Music to begin in the Fall of 2016. She will be working with undergraduate and graduate students in areas related to teacher education, instrumental methods and the psychology of music. Alie is also excited to continue her research in the areas of: student directed learning, perception and performance of written notation, psychology of music and teacher education. Alie was a graduate assistant for the UofL bands from 2007-2009 while earning a Master of Music in Wind Conducting.
