On Wednesday, October 2nd, high school students gathered together for an evening of masterclasses with our very own UofL Music Faculty. We had a record breaking number of students attend this year, topping off at 250. All students received masterclasses for their individual instrument for the upcoming KMEA All-State auditions, free of charge. High schools that attended this year’s Workshop were: Oldham County, Jeffersontown, YPAS, Butler, North Bullitt, Bullitt East, Martha Layne Collins, Trimble County, South Oldham, Atherton, Carroll County, Western Hills, Christian Academy of Louisville, Randall K. Cooper, Bullitt Central, Southern, North Hardin, Louisville Male, Grant County, Central Hardin, Spencer County, Fairdale and Seneca. It was an outstanding evening and our band department is already looking forward to another record breaking attendance next year!
