On Friday, January 25th and Saturday, January 26th, we will have close to 200 students from Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio join us for two days of intense rehearsals and a performance during our annual Invitational Honor Band. These students were nominated by their high school band director, private instructor, or UofL faculty member to attend the Honor Band. We will have three fine honor bands rehearsed and conducted by Dr. Speck, Dr. Acklin, and Dr. Cumberledge. Please join us for our final concert that begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Comstock Concert Hall at the School of Music. The concert is free and open to the public.
